Morrissey Collapses On Stage And Admitted To Hospital

Former front man for the Smiths, Morrissey has been taken to hospital after collapsing on stage at the Oasis Leisure Centre in Swindon.
Fans say that he fell to the floor soon after the start of his concert. He appeared to be straining to perform the song This Charming Man and slumped to his knees on stage.
Band members were quickly by his side and took him offstage. Shortly after an announcement was made to the fans that he had left the building, was seriously ill and would not be returning to stage.
Although there has been no announcement of what is wrong with him, his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
A spokeswoman for Swindon’s Great Western Hospital said: “Morrissey was brought in to the Accident and Emergency department this evening.
“He has been seen by the medical team. At this stage his condition is stable.”
