Tiger Woods Badly Hurt In Car Accident

Golf superstar Tiger Woods has been seriously hurt in a car accident outside his home in Florida, say reports.

The world number one is thought to have crashed his vehicle in Isleworth early this morning.

The accident happened as he pulled out of his driveway, reports said.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods’ car struck a fire hydrant and then a tree.

The 33-year-old is reported to have been taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, said the Orlando Sentinel.

Why CBS Blurred Adam Lambert’s Kiss and Not Madonna’s

On Wednesday’s Early Show appearance by Lambert, producers blurred the singer’s open-mouth kiss with a male keyboardist during his controversial performance at Sunday’s AMAs, WHY?

We might well ask why, especially as just a few seconds later they ran an undistorted clip of Madonna smooching Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV VMAs.

A CBS rep explained the decision……………..

“We gave this some real thought. The Madonna image is very familiar and has appeared countless times including many times on morning television. The Adam Lambert image is a subject of great current controversy, has not been nearly as widely disseminated, and for all we know, may still lead to legal consequences.”

Jarrett Barrios, President of GLAAD, called the edits “an unfortunate double standard that is applied to openly gay performers. I would have hoped that CBS would provide the same treatment for images of gay and lesbian people and not create an unfair double standard that treats our community differently.” Barrios also notes that the organization has reached out to the Early Show’s producers to express these concerns.

Have The Pussycat Dolls Split Due To Arguments And Jealousy?

The Pussycat Dolls have split up because of bitter arguments and jealousy over lead singer Nicole Scherzinger’s fame.

The catfight is said to be due to Lewis Hamilton’s girlfriend overshadowing the rest of the group.

“It is war. They have broken up for good,” a source told the New York Post newspaper.

“None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight, then went off to do her own thing.”

But the band’s founder, dancer and choreographer Robin Antin, has denied the reports.

She told US website Hollyscoop: “The Pussycat Dolls are very much alive and there is no truth to the silent treatment statements.

“Nicole and the Dolls have always been close.

“Nicole is and always has been a strong creative force within this group and I cherish the way we collaborate.”

The girl band started out as a burlesque act in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s and have been through several changes in line-up.

Their first hit was Don’t Cha, featuring rapper Busta Rhymes, which reached number one in 2005.

Reports of an impending break-up have escalated since the quintet announced they were “taking a break” in August.

Robin Antin, founder of girl group Pussycat Dolls, has issued a statement saying there “is no truth” to the rumours that the American girl group had split up.

Media speculation had suggested that the relationship between lead singer Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of group had become strained.

In a statement Antin, who oversees the band, said: “The Pussycat Dolls are very much alive and there is no truth to the silent treatment statements. Nicole and the Dolls have ALWAYS been close.”

Antin went on to add: “Nicole is and always has been a strong creative force within this group and I cherish the way we collaborate.

Finally she said: “The Pussycat Dolls have proven their success over many years and will continue to do so.”

Nicola Scherzinger, partner of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, is currently working on a solo album.
